{"id":2429,"date":"2016-12-29T15:27:37","date_gmt":"2016-12-29T14:27:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.dryc.cl\/se-promulga-ley-n-20-945-que-reforma-el-sistema-de-libre-competencia-2"},"modified":"2019-05-09T21:12:05","modified_gmt":"2019-05-09T19:12:05","slug":"se-promulga-ley-n-20-945-que-reforma-el-sistema-de-libre-competencia-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dryc.cl\/en\/se-promulga-ley-n-20-945-que-reforma-el-sistema-de-libre-competencia-2\/","title":{"rendered":"December 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana;\">The Chilean Free Competition System regulated by Decree Law No. 211 was recently amended by the new Law No. 20,945<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana;\">Among the matters addressed by this new law is the creation of a new anticompetitive offense denominated &#8220;direct horizontal interlocking&#8221;, the criminalization of collusion in relation to hard cartels, as well as an increase in fines on acts against free competition.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: verdana;\">On the other hand, Law No. 20,945 stipulates that a company must report the acquisition of minority interests in competing companies.
